I am experiencing what I know is probably more anxiety then necessary because of a meeting this morning regarding an organizational change. I am consciously going to avoid food for emotional support and plan to meditate instead.
Wish me luck.

I had the same sensation as I really got into Keto....found I was a more stress eater than I knew. It is so insidious. I have to vigilant...that's why my IF of 18/6 is so helpful. Deep breath...it does work especially over time.

I really understand what you are feeling. I found that I was more of a stress eater than I knew. I would have said ...I just loved food and was in a sedentary job. So when I confined my eating to a fasting window...I was compelled to notice that stress brought on cravings that otherwise I didn't feel. I found facing the stressful element head on and/or changing the my reaction by doing something practical ( make lists, do chores, go for a walk, call someone ) I got by it. Relearned! Over and over! This problem is a biggy. Never really solved. But can be lessened. My Best to you.

Good luck!!! And try some anxiety relieving techniques... counting backwards, deep breathing and try to avoid coffee especially on an empty stomach. When the body experiences anxiety it will spike your adrenaline and suck your blood sugar, coffee can make this worse, and food cravings can happen, so eat a few light snacks to prevent caving!

Great feedback! The meeting was not as bad as feared but I've got a few more tools in my chest now!
