So interesting change of approach after this weekend. Friday I pigged out on pizza tortilla chips with cheese spinach dip, and pretzels with butter (many of them), not to mention beer and ice cream afterwards. Saturday I had to start housesitting my parents' house upon entering I basically binged on the 15 different kinds of chocolate they had, following which I went to a birthday party with a buffet. All of which are of course terrible, and then came Sunday....and keeping in mind the book I want to read called Eat Stop Eat, Sunday I fasted.
I mean I realize that once I eat it triggers me to want to keep eating, that's why once I get a taste of one piece of chocolate I want 20 more, so for me personally it's easier not to eat at all than to try to limit myself...and you know what. I felt great, I wasn't even starving, it was a little hard since my boyfriend and I went to an outdoor mall where we had to walk past about 10 food places that I love (including dessert) but otherwise even making lunch for today and baking a pie without sneaking food was ok. I think this may have to be my approach. Have at least one day on the weekend where I splurge (since there is an event pretty much every single weekend) and one day when I fast....Have to see how this will work for me.
