bbstacy's Journal, 08 Mar 10

I have been feeling very tired lately. I am having a hard time finding a good diet program for me, due to this medication I am on (Levothroxine). So many rules on what I can and can not eat. I am so use to taking my one-a-day and fish oil vitamins every morning. Can not now due to the meds. I keep on forgetting to take them after lunch. Tried taking them before bed and got a bad stomach pain for hours afterward. Well since I have been on this medication for 2 months now my weight has been up and down. Took a blood test last Friday and will be seeing my doctor this Thursday. Wonder if it is really working? I know one thing. I have to get back on keeping track of what I am eatting.

Hormones have such a huge impact on weight, energy and mood. Hope your doctor is able to help you find the best balance in medication. I think you're right, you need to get back to keeping track of what you are eating. If that's all you have energy for right now, I think it will help. The other suggestion I have is for you to, maybe try and cut back on sugar. You'd be surprised what even making small changes can do. Hang in there.

Also, try to add protien throughout your day. That might help with the energy. Hang in there!
