Wish I had more patience for weight loss...;(

I see very little results and I get bummned. I know I didn't put this weight on over night, so why should I expect it to come off over night??

Keep telling yourself that. I find that a lot of self talk helps me on this journey. You're already down 5 lbs!!! That is great. Maybe try weighing in once a week? Some people get bummed when they don't see the numbers moving in the right direction or slower than they hoped while others use that to keep themselves in check. The main thing is keep in mind why you want to do this. And over time, eating this way will become your normal.
