DistantMidget's Journal, 10 Sep 17

So Friday night I did make it to Prezzo's, garlic bread a chicken pasta Alfredo .
A zillion calories no doubt, but yesterday I had one meal of fish, vegetables and potatoes to balance things out.

I also discovered something we all knew anyway.
Drinking out can involve a coffee shop rather than a pub.

Espresso & Cappachino are my new drinking buddies. Better that than Tequilla and lager.
Braising steak, onions and loads of veg for dinner later, no roast potatoes for me.

Am going to be better next week, no treats at all, just fruit.

Your eating or the week looks good, and you're unlikely to have done much damage by eating unless unless you really pigged out. Try also logging your output calories every day, even if you have done no 'exercise'. It's good to see the difference between input and output. Just to to the exercise tab and check the box that says 'This is all of my output'. I'd recommend NOT logging time spent sitting, watching TV, driving etc, but do try and do a little bit of exercise each day if you can. A short walk is great, but if you can't do that, then something chair-based. Have a look on YouTube for ideas.

Great advice, Heidi. DM - fruit is great but be wary as some has shedloads of sugar in a portion (yes, I agree it's not as bad as sweeties as it's with fibre but all the same). All the best!

Great comments guys. It's amazing how small changes can make such a huge difference, well done and keep it up.
