Man...being out of town and having to eat at a restaurant ever hard on a diet...I had an omelette, toast & hash browns...trippled my breakfast calories...lunch was normal (packed enough from home to cover my three days)...then a dinner/meeting with other managers...grilled chicken breast & rice with two pints of beer...wow...1850cal...almost my whole diet...the rice was 800cal, the beer 720cal...so if I had skipped half my breakfast & not eaten the rice I would be fine...one more day to go...no omelette tomorrow...and just soup & sandwich for dinner...bad part is, the meeting was about a problem that "we" need to fix...translation: madjak is going to site to make sure the client is happy with results of the project...nice!!

I'm gonna kick the other Project Manager in the private bits when I see him, leaving for vacation when his jobs are collapsing...BS!!

Had a great day, no stress...provided I perform a couple of miracles...good thing I'm totally awesome!! At least that seemed to be the angle they were using..."you're the only one that's qualified and we trust to get this done"...I heard: you drew the short straw, sorry buddy...oh, and try to get your budgets set up and re-coded before the end of the day tomorrow...and interview a new employee, since you aren't really doing much...FRICK!! I've only been in my new position for four days...WTF??

Sorry, rant/venting is over...thank goodness my wifey is understanding about me having to come home, pack & leave again first thing in the morning...
