Sometimes it seems like life is one step forward and two steps back. Friday night I noticed a bulge near my colectomy scar and today I went to the doctors and was diagnosed with an incisional hernia which will require surgery.
Unfortunately it will have to wait at least until I complete my last 3 chemo treatments. I've often heard people say I hate your guts, but apparently my guts hate me. On the positive side I discovered during my hour an a half wait at the doctors during lunch time that if I touch it when I'm hungry I can make my stomach growl so I got that going for me, which is nice.
