Probably dropped all water weight this week, hopefully not too much muscle and hopefully a little fat, but I need to get my blood pressure down which has gone up (as well as weight going up and returning sinus and gastrointestinal problems) since I started eating junk again since xmas.
I've cut out wheat and grain products, sugar, bread, baking, pies, and just back to mostly whole foods and home cooking (some tinned tomato soup because I need to include tomatoes in my diet, I know, I should buy fresh!).
I have even cut out oats this time, see how that goes as I love my oats in the morning, but I'm finding this time around my appetite is quite suppressed with no cravings due to cutting out the wheat and grain products. Meat, veg and some fruit has been it this week.
We have a family history on my dads side of cholesterol and high blood pressure and heart attach and death in their 60's, I've already lost my two older brothers, so I'm thinking it could be diet related and not just accept it as genetics and that the way it is as my doctor has told me. I feel I can do something about it, I want to be here for a while for my kids and grand kids aye.
Still drinking coffee which I need to address but still need a crutch ATM, ha.
Hopefully I can stay the course.
