sarah_cook2007's Journal, 01 Mar 12

To all my fatsecret friends:

This morning I weighed the same as I have for the past 3 days despite exercising my butt off and eating SUPER healthy...then I logged onto fatsecret and I was reading comments on my journal from yesterday and you all make me so happy. I love how when I am feeling down on myself I can just log onto here and read things from all of you and it really lifts my spirits. Thank you all so much for helping put a smile on my face. It honestly does mean a lot to me and I would have given up hope long ago on this journey if it were not for all of you!

I love you all
Sarah

you have done your part in keeping us all motivated so you deserve your success and all this encouragement thrown back at you... i just had a little stall, 10 days! at the same weight... and now its trickling off little by little, you got this momma, just remember you can either keep it moving or stop and go backwards. One of those just is not an option..lol...

I feel your pain! But all my buddies help me stay motivated and I am glad we can do the same for you. As long as you keep it up, it will come off. Have a good day.

Slow n steady wins the race... sometimes slower than we'd like. We are all with ya, been there, still doing that... but we'll get there!! Happy Thursday!

I know where you are coming from. Communicating with other about our journey makes a difference. I would have never thought it would but when I started journaling and talking to other through journals I find myself smiling and relating to others. It is refreshing to find other that are on the same path. Don't sweat the plateau. You are doing something right if you are not gaining consistenly. So keep going at it and you will see another new low. Don't let the frustration get the best of you, you've come too TOO far to not reach your goal.

A couple of days at the same weight is not a plateau. It is almost impossible to see loss on the scale every day. Your body could very well still be burning fat, but when the fat burns, it is converted into water, and your body can hold on to the water for a while before it lets go. If it takes a couple days to see loss don't worry, your body is just adjusting. drink extra water to help push out the water that you don't need, that usually helps me. But you know how to do this you have already done so well.

You'll definitely see a loss soon, no problems.. Keep doing the right things and the scale will reward you soon enough! That's why I love this site and all of my buddies - so much support!! :)

You'll have times like that along the way..especially as you are getting closer to your goal. Don't worry...down the line you'll have a week where you lose more than you really should to make up for it..just keep grinding..you are killing it!

I know it's not really a plateau its just...im used to when i had TONS of weight to lose I was losing a pound EVERY day with hardly any effort at all...so this working hard and not seeing immediate results on the scale kinda sucks...but I understand why it is

that i get... frustrates me when it seems i try harder and no change.

Yeah, it is a lot easier to lose when you have more to lose. Keep in mind that it will keep getting harder! LOL. But you will look so GOOD and its worth it :)

Sarah, you'll lose the weight, so I'm suggesting that you weigh in once a week, that way the daily ups and downs, that we all experience, won't be so noticeable, and stress you out. Good luck as you continue your journey, and just chill out. :-)
