So I just found this site when I downloaded the APP for my Blackberry and I like the fact that its kinda like a community of people who are trying to lose weight. It encourages you more when you can check on other peoples statuses and stuff and try to keep up with them or whatever.

I'm 24 years old and even though I don't know how much I weigh (Haven't weighed myself) I was encouraged to get in better shape when I noticed my medium t-shirts, which used to fit me good started to get more snug. I'm only 5'4 so even though I might not be too overweight , when I do gain weight even the smallest amount can show.

In the past I have done super low calorie diets which obviously can show results very fast, but how long can you really live like that? Eventually the lack of fuel that your body needs will catch up to you and when it does I start to eat everything in site.

My goal now is to start a new way of eating that where I have energy , Don't always feel hungry, and if I go outside of my boundaries a little bit I can enjoy it without being disappointed with myself.

Lucky for me I don't really like sugar based drinks, or junk food or anything like that. My main thing is just eating too much in general. I love food and it can be hard to control my portions; even when I'm eating foods that are considered good for me I can sometimes counter act that with my portion size.

My main goal is just to become more lean and for my clothes to fit better. I just started a new exercise program so I'm hoping that using that and this site together I can reach my goal easier.
