I am with you on this one! I only gained 20 back - but I know how you feel. Just think if you did it once you can do it again even better!!

Just be glad that you still have an oppurtunity to change. My mother is diabetic and very overweight- I remember as a little girl the doctor told her to lose the weight and she didn't, now she can barely move ( she has had a stoke and does not have good balance to walk) so she is stuck. I keep telling myself that I can't let that happen to my boys. I don't want them to see me go through what my mother is going through.

I looked at my daughter who is 8 changing tonight and thought to myself, I cannot seal her fate.. My mother is very over weight as well. I have to do something different.. Thank you for your support. I am not wierded out at ALL - I know that God - has a plan and wants what is best for all of his children. I feel better knowing that I am not alone in this journey to healthy living. I have a 7 year old (who will be 8 in May) and a 3 year old (that will be 4 in July). Tonight at dinner my 8 year old asked how many calories he had eaten. I guess my calorie counting and making better choices is rubbing off on them ( however my husband is not a large man - so my boys are both little bean poles and need to gain weight. However they will be better husbands someday because they have seen how hard I am having to work to get it off. I am proud that you are here with me. We can only take it one day at a time. I like to think by eating healthier now I am choosing to be around longer for my boys.
