Stood up from the computer last night, felt a familiar discomfort, and a quick check confirmed my hernia has popped back out. I'll phone my GP when the surgery opens.

Such a shame Jocko. Hope your GP will find a way of getting it fixed sooner rather than later.

Just back from seeing my GP and she doesn't think it is a hernia. She thinks it may just be an ruck in the membrane they inserted. She says we will monitor it, in case it gets bigger, but doesn't think I need to see the surgeon at this stage.

But, it was uncomfortable ... so how does this work? Hope it is nothing to be concerned about.

To me, inside, it felt like my hernia. I'll just have to accept her diagnosis and not go and stick my head in the oven.
