I'm feeling really good today I'm going to do some golfing this afternoon. I'm still going to walk the course.
I can't have too much sodium and I'm not so good with mixing herbs and seasonings ,I used a little olive oil, sometimes sesame seed oil,
I've tried cayenne not much of the others, I could buy the Mrs. Dash things but I prefer to try it myself.. any ideas? it's so hard to replace SALT!I'm limited on my favorites soy sauce and pickles(I can eat a whole jar for lunch) I was addicted to peanuts, and ate anything smoked( except a cigarette butt)or barbequed , now it's really down to very little things that don't contain a lot of salt. The trade off for me is I wouldn't touch any pasty, chocolate candy , any whip cream thing, no Ice Cream thing put in in front of me. BUTTER I can't stand the smell of BUTTER I would never used it or eat it ,My wife says that is not normal. I like cinnamon and do used it alot I do like yogurt? But refuse to even touch mayo!I could eat Thanksgiving dinner everyday MINUS THE PUMPKIN PIE(I will eat the pumpkin baked with cinnamon with no pie crust I do eat gingerbread and the only cake I'll eat is
Angel Food...... everbody has something right?

Salt is a tough one for me. But I found a couple of tricks in some recipes that work. For example, I add cocoa powder to my turkey chili and somehow, magically the amount of salt I need to add to make it taste right is cut in half. I think it just hits the right notes on my palette. Also, just eating things that don't require salt, like fruit for example, that helps me. I hope this helps.

Vinegar helps but I am a salt-o-holic. Unless its fresh, then I can get by with alot less.

Salt is a tough one. Hopefully Nina's idea will work! Hope you enjoyed golfing. Must be great to have weather nice enough to golf. I can't wait for it to warm up.
