Rowanfair's Journal, 02 Feb 12

Well, my fitbit came and I'm finding out I'm even more sedentary than I gave myself credit for. I know that my exercise has slacked off as my tennis elbow has flared - it hurts to swing my arms and it is really awkward walking as if my arm is in a sling (though that does help). Well, a few days isn't probative but at least I have another tool to help me get going again.

Sorry to hear about the pain you are dealing with right now, but even though you can't do too much about it know, at least you are more aware of these things. Hope the elbow feels better soon. Much love.

I already knew I was sedentary, I just had no idea HOW sedentary until I got my fitbit. Now I know why I quit losing weight last July. I've been eating around 1500-1800 cals a day because fatsecret says that's my RDI. In reality, I'm only burning around a total of 1500 cals a day total. As soon as I get my gall bladder issue taken care of, I'm really going to have to step up the activity level if I want to go on losing. Dropping below 1500 cals a day really isn't an option for me . . . not enough nutrition. I hope you learn to like your fitbit as much as I do mine.
