Low carb ribs made with a spicy rub and whiskey bbq sauce, kale cooked with bacon and onions, and mashed cauliflower with horseradish. The kids got mashed potatoes in lieu of the cauliflower and said that I make the best food ever! They changed their mind when they tried the kale.

That looks and sounds awesome! I'm not a fan of kale, either, so I sympathize with your kids. :D

I'm not a huge fan of kale, but a 16oz bag was on the discount produce rack for 99¢. I generally eat it raw in salads, but since it was on its way out when I bought it, I just cooked it up and it'll be a side with my lunches or dinners for the next few days. Next time I may throw it in a quiche. My boys will eat quiche no matter what I put in it. The trick is to tell them that it's egg pie!

I add in heavy cream, some butter and a little seasoning on my sauteed kale and it was much easier to palette.

I'll have to give that a try. I'm always up to trying new dishes and I'm not fool enough to believe that just because I don't care for something one way, that I wont care for it another. :)
