It's been a while since I recorded a journal entry, and I'm really not sure why. I guess I just didn't feel like I had much to say.
I went to another kickboxing/aerobics class on Monday, and it was less painful than the first one. We are going to do another one tonight, and hopefully we can manage to get out of bed tomorrow.
I managed to find a sweetener that really has 0 calories, unlike Splenda. It is a 95% pure stevia extract in powder form, and I bought some online at Amazon. I'm not sure how it will taste, but I'm hoping it's at least tolerable, so I can drink coffee without worrying about the phantom dextrose and whatever else is hiding in Splenda packets.
All in all, it has been a good week so far. The scale continues it's gradual downward movement, and I'm definitely getting more fit. I've started having to tuck my work shirts into my pants, because they look too big for me otherwise, and I've been getting compliments here and there. Also, my muscles are starting to make a comeback, and it's been a while since they made their presence known. I've missed them, and it's good to have them back.
