I had a good workout, today; I walked about a mile and a half, and did my upper body workout in the weight room. It felt good!

Yesterday, I had a hankering for some pasta, so I had some. I made a lower carb pasta sauce, and put that on top of some Dreamfield's spaghetti, that was mixed with zucchini. I carefully watched my portion size, and only cooked what I was going to eat last night. It was very tasty. It will be interesting to see if the Dreamfield's pasta has an impact on my weight loss. Some people, on the Atkins website, take exception to the low carb claims of the pasta, but I've never had problems with it before, and don't anticipate any now. Mixing it, with the zucchini, allowed me the portion size I wanted, without doubling up on the pasta.

Its so enlightening to see how you mix it up. Good job making an educated decision about how to add in a usually higher carb item so you didn't go overboard.

Very good idea...with the pasta, I think we all have things that work for some and not for others. Keep up the good work...you are rocking it out again....

Spaghetti squash is a good substitute as well. I usually just serve mine over brown rice, since I'm not low carb and can't have gluten.

Thanks, everyone. As Dreamfield's is a low carb pasta, or so they say, I hope it won't have a negative impact on my weightloss. Johanne, I'm aware of spaghetti squash, and love it, but this time I wanted the real thing. Dreamfield's has only 5 net carbs per 2 ounce serving, but that's not a lot, which is why I added the (pan grilled) zucchini to it.
