Sounds like you had an amazing day 😜
Your cat looks so contented !!
My grandsons cat, Penny was operated on yesterday and when they went to get her the boys were shocked ..after seeing. the scar. I was even more shocked when it came to the bill £304! 🐈🐈
Penny arrived home starving hungry.
yes, I think I would be a bit stressed too Jocko lol.
Have a good day

Have you tried Feliway for your cats? It worked a treat on mine when I had to drive from Leeds to Scotland when we moved house. She used to panic during the 1.5 mile trip to the vet but was fine for the 4 hours in the car to Scotland

I use Feliway, It may take the edge off but doesn't work completely. Once she is in the car she settles down, it is just getting her in the box that is the issue. It is amazing how wide she can stretch her legs when she wants too!

She's stunning. Not many cat's like being in moving cars, have you tried Bach's Rescue Remedy for pets. You put in in water a few hours before the journey and is supposed to be very good. Mrs Maths, I know exactly what you mean about the vet bill. All our pets are rescued and when we got the parakeets the female was very poorly. We took her to the vet and she had a broken wing and was eggbound. The vet told us it would be very expensive to treat her and as they aren't 'expensive' birds it probably wasn't the best option. My wonderful husband said 'She's family, she's priceless'. The vet wasn't kidding though - £674 later!!!! But two years on is very happy and healthy.

Lucy got a clean bill of health apart from being overweight. She weighs in at 5.5 Kg. We had to drop her into the box to get her to go, and shake and drag her out at the vets, but she was like a rat up a drainpipe for the return journey. Mind you, I have been getting the "death stare" since we came home.

Lovely picture of Lucy. Glad she had a clean bill of health, but looks like it's her turn to go on FatSecret.

Lucy looks very regal. My cat has been 5.5 kg for most of his life - he's lost a bit of weight now he's elderly. I've started feeding him kitten food to boost his calories. Glad Lucy got a clean bill of health (don't put her on a fasting diet though - lol!).

The vet says to cut her down to about 40 gms a day, but if you do she wakes you up at 3:30-4am by pawing your head, demanding to get fed. We think she is part Norwegian Forest cat, and they are big. She has a double coat and furry soles to her paws.

How sweet - yes she probably is part Norwegian Forest cat - she looks like she's a cat wearing a big fur coat!
