Faced one of my first challenges today. I went to an informational meeting about Genentech, where there was pizza. I had been practically starving before the meeting, but managed to eat a bagel from the coffee shop about 20 minutes prior. When I entered the meeting, I saw they were giving away pizza, and oh man, it smelled delicious. Every one around me was eating some, but I resisted because I already ate my bagel for lunch. Go me.

Wowie...great accomplishment and I hope you're not feeling deprived because that was a demonstration of super self dicipline which means control over one's self! Tell me how did the informational meeting go and how many people were attending, etc. when you get a moment.
