So usually once a year, my office does a "Biggest Loser" competition. They haven't started one yet, but I am encouraging them to do it.
The rules are interesting. You pay $20, and set you weight loss goal (that is at least 5% of your body weight). It's usually 8 weeks long, and at the end of hte 8 weeks, if you haven't reached your goal, your money goes into the "pot". Each week you must weigh in once where the receptionist observes and records your weight. If you don't lose weight, you have to put $2 in the pot.
At the end of it all, whoever has the highest percentage of weight loss, wins the pot. It's not usually a ton of money, but it's enough to make all the effort worthwhile.
So I'm hoping she'll get it set up. Last year I was at 330s, so was not comfortable with people seeing my weight, so I didn't join. This year... well... I can do it, and I'd like to see if I can win!
Anyone else do anything like this at work?
