2017 SUPER FOOD MEAL:
This is a SUPER food breakfast, having ALL the nutrients and minerals needed for the day. Anything after is for more protein and calories as needed.

INGREDIENTS:
Roasted Salted Cashew Nuts 31g
Dried Seaweed 5g
Cinnamon 6g
Fennel Seed 10g
Bananas 52g
Tone's Cayenne Pepper 1 g
Bob's Red Mill Organic Steel Cut Oats 80 g
Kirkland Signature Dried Cherries 33 g
Now Foods Psyllium Husk Powder 4 g
Pure Hawaiian Spirulina 8 g
Kirkland Signature Organic Coconut Oil 10 g
Nutritional Yeast Flakes 12 g,
Now Foods Magnesium Citrate Powder 5g
OPTIONAL SNACK: Sargento Natural Blends - Sharp Cheddar-Jack Cheese Sticks 2 x 1 piece

Instructions;
add hot water to: Oats, Fennel, Magnesium.
then add coconut oil.
bring to boil then simmer for 20 to 25 min stirring often.
add dried cherries or raisins 5 min before done.
Mix dry ingredients in a dish.
Cook oats until still a bit runny, then put in a large bowl.
adding dry ingredients and stirring thoroughly.
add banana, and I add an ounce or so of home made ginger juice, and then add and stir in the Psyllium Husk Powder.
allow to cool a bit and for the Psyllium Husk Powder to thicken it all.

Steel cut oats for firmer when eaten later. Better than rolled oats for that, Even cooking 30 min on simmer, steel cut oats still firm and chewy later. And I just used a little Quinoa.

I had in mind pouring this into a mold and having something akin to a power bar. My wife and I bought some Quinoa some years ago, but never used it, will have to re-try that at some point in the future.

Phil, I've thought about that as well. Could happen, but then would be too dry. We are supposed to drink a glass of water with a protein or power bar. I use this adaptor a LOT, storing all kinds of things and putting in the fridge, and can last for MONTHS.
