Okay, so I was reading some journals and came across the "3 day" diet. It's very tempting because it says you will lose about 10 pounds. I am trying to lose 6 pounds in less than 3 weeks, which if I stick to my current diet I can very likely reach that.

But I want to be able to kick start and guarantee it. I am going to try to do a little research on this diet and see if it's not a good idea even though it's only for 3 days. I would go back to South Beach after the 3 days.

So anyway, I'm looking for some opinions. I don't want to start a bashing party. I feel that everyone has an opinion and I don't want anyone to put down anyone else for their opinions.

This is a place for support and I could really use that right now. I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow so I don't have much time to decide if I'm going to do this. Thanks everyone! :)

What are some of the details of this diet? 10 pounds in 3 days sounds like an awful lot.Can you share some more with us :] You are doing awesome by the way!

Thanks Shae! I doubt I'll see 10lbs. It doesn't look very healthy. It's minimal eating (around 1000 calories daily)... all the research I've found doesn't look good. I don't think it would work for me because I am already eating low carb and that is part of the reason articles are saying you lose quickly. Well I'm going to be bad and try it anyway. I figure it's only 3 days so it can't hurt that bad. I think it would be bad when people are doing it regularly and returning to binge eating afterwards. I won't be binge eating, I will go back to south beach. Anyway you can find the meal plans on webmd (which the article isn't recommending doing it but it gives you the details); or you can search for 3 day diet here in the diets section. If anything I think this will kick start me into eating breakfast regularly again and drinking more water. You are doing great too! I'm so happy to have this place, everyone is such great motivation!
