Well, I'm trying to do the boost metabolism challenge and it says I should eat every 2-3 hours. I feel like I'm constantly eating. Also does anyone know if there is way to type in the food you ate and its points instead of having to select it off the list? There are things I have ww recipes for and I already have points figured and other things I may not have eaten the serving size and the amount I ate wasn't an option. In other words my points are off cause I can't figure out how to override them.

Hi Revv0614. I agree that eating something every 2-3 hrs. makes you feel like you are eating all of the time, cause you are. If you are not hungry, don't eat. It is meant to cut down the cravings and keep you satisfied so that you don't feel like you are being deprived (which is how a lot of diets make you feel). Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are your meals. In between those meals are the snacks (fruit and a protein bar, half of a PB&J sandwich, etc.). This should make you less hungry by lunch and dinner so the portions are less. Don't give up, unless it's making you too uncomfortable. Regarding the food input, I found out (late) that you can put in 1/2 of a serving or 1/4 of a serving, and it calculates the difference. I was glad to put my calculator away. If you have any questions, just ask and if I don't know the answer, I will try to find out.

Thanks so much for the tip on how to change serving! That was exactly what I needed. Do you know a way to add the points for a recipe that you are making? Last night I made portabello wraps and I added all the ingredients separately into counter but that seems hard to do when you are making something that feeds many.

Revv0614, go to your "Cook Book" and creat a recipe for your meal. It will total up the ingredients and give you the total "points". Then you can add that meal to your food calendar as 1/8th or 1/4th, etc. and it will divide the points accordingly.
