Done in by a pumpkin pie. I thought I was being very responsible in my shopping choices at Costco and was under control all the way through dinner. But my wife had bought a huge pumpkin pie. I still had a few calories left, so I thought I would have one little tiny sliver, which led to another, which led to another, until I had eaten a full-sized piece. Dang!
