Money will be really tight. So I bought some lunch stuff to keep at work. And breakfast stuff for my desk at work. I have four meals of dinner stuff and then will need more dinner. But I'm also trying to eat up what is in the apartment rather than move it or throw it out. I'm too broke to throw money in the garbage. Every penny is going to moving costs. I feel like my meals may look strange for three weeks. Especially as I just entered today's food and it is way to low in calories. Maybe I need to buy some eggs?

Eggs are pretty inexpensive and a good choice. You can do a lot with eggs. Don't throw anything out. Maybe eat it in small portions until it is gone? I don't believe in wasting or throwing food out.

Don't give into what I call the "poverty diet", the cheap processed foods that "us" po' folks resort to when $$$ are none existent. The same 10/$10 frozen entree's, or 2/$1 boxes or cans of prepared have zero nutritional value and can undo any progress you've made. I too am extremely tight right now and my meals for the next few weeks will also look different, but... I spent my $50 yesterday at Sprouts on things that will either flesh out the healthy frozen fish, and vegetables that I never have "enough time" to cook. Now the choice is cook or starve and I'm not willing to do the latter. Good luck and best wishes on your "clean out the fridge" diet. YOU ARE NOT ALONE :-).

Agree with JS. Read nutritional labels before purchasing the new food items.
