Had another good night but feeling a bit sore this morning. I only took three doses of painkiller yesterday so perhaps that is the reason. The weight has started to pile back on. I have suddenly got my appetite back (yesterday I ate twice my RDI!) but I am still not doing much to burn it off. I will have to put the brakes on the eating and make some more sensible dietary decisions.

Hi Jocko Glad you are getting there slowly but surely.....I started to drive my car last week but think I did it too soon, my car is a little Fiat 500 so getting in and out of the car was a bit awkward, and to be honest the seatbelt was pulling slightly across my stomach.....I also started to plant a few flowers in my raised garden beds and wished to God I hadn't cos this week I'm back on the pain killers..... I've pulled muscles in my abdomen (we think) so to be on the safe side my Doctor said I've got to have another Ultra Sound/CT scan just to make sure there is no damage done just waiting for the Hospital to contact me.....How stupid am I, My mind is very willing but my Body is telling me otherwise.....So for the past 4 days I've been sitting and sleeping in the recliner chair feeling sorry for myself but if only I wasn't such a silly old F**t none of this would have happened.....When they say 6 weeks recovery I think it's for someone 20yrs younger than me!!!!.....BFN Maggy May

Take it easy, Maggy. I keep picking things up then thinking, "that was heavier than I thought". It is so easy to overdo things. My car is rather low too. It is a Volvo S40. Thankfully it is an automatic, but I had never thought about the seat belt. I'll just have to see how it goes.

It's too easy to do things too soon - take care (and you too, Maggy!)

Oy, you two are giving me a heads up as to what to expect after my surgery July 20. I'll make sure I TRY to get as much done before then. I'm glad my car isn't that low. Hope tomorrow is a little better jacko

When you are not driving, start the car every day. Don't get caught out as I have!
