Warning to all - long and rambling :)

Friday and its raining in Tampa.... The story of my life :)

It is not really that bad... It is supposed to clear up tomorrow around noon so I can still spend some time on the beach. Hope to leave work around 11 and try to find my hotel :) I am hoping for the best. Even if it is bad, all I really need is down time. I could sleep all weekend and be fine :) But I hope to walk on the beach in the sand and get some good exercise while exfoliating my feet :) I love to stroll along the beach. Hope I dn't get lost and have to get a taxi to get back to the hotel..... That is a possibility :) I loaded up my IPhone with music and plan to stroll and listed to tunes and get burned on one side of my body :) Geesh - that is worth getting up early for :) LOL and I am not a morning person.

Food choices could have been better yesterday. I had sashimi and miso soup which is fine for me. bnut I also had some sushi roll and it had too much rice. Oh well.... it could have been worse I am sure. I was able to wear my jeans today. Woo Hoo. They seema little less tight than on Wednesday.... but I am thinking that is actually wishful thinking on my part :) Who knows. maybe I will go shopping tomorrow and try on jeans. hmmmm that might be depressing :(

I'd love to go to Busch Gardens but i don't want to do that alone. Next time maybe. Too bad Im not single - I'd be tempted to pick up a biker dude so I could go for a ride along the beach :) HEHEHEHEHE. Just kidding. but i do wich my husband had been able to ride down here. I love the wind in my hair and sun :)

I am ready for the enxt 2 week to be over so I can start my vacation. I have to start it in nashville at a bull riding finals. Get to flank my favorite bulls and I am looking forward to it. Then the vacation starts and I don't have a clue what we will do the first part of the week. I hope it is pretty and I can paint fences and my porch columns... Then we travel to Texas and visit with my father-in-law. We are planning to go out dancing with some friends and then head to Fort Worth for the Cutting horse event. I sure do love to watch those animals work. i would lve to be able to ride like that. Someday maybe. My new horse (Indy) should be ready to come home sometime prior to Christmas. We have to get the barn fixed first... but then, I can start to learn to ride. I know that getting a amaing athlete like a cutting horse to learn with is really stupid but... That is me - get the best that I can and make yard art pets out of them :) At least my husband can ride and he will get some use out of Indy. Anyway, after the Cutting, it is Thanksgiving at the step daughter's house and visiting with everyone. Then I work in dallas for 2 weeks :) More dancing for the weekend and then - Christmas..... Can you believe how close it is to Christmas??!!!

Wow - what a rambling journal..... You can tell my mind is on everything except work :) I just love Fridays!!!

Oh - today, my husband took my longhorn to the elementary school for 'farm day'. He is so excited. he loves those events and dealing with the kids. I think the longhorn likes it too :) The funny this is, we put the longhorn in the pens last Sunday so he could get calmed down and used to his haulter. had to take him to get his pedicure and stuff and it is just easier when he has been captured a bit. Well Star, the older bucking bull, has imposed on himself a captive lifestyle. He put himself in another pen and has been staying there for a week. he is so funny. I guess he is saying that he is ready to go buck! Too funny the things animals do. Anyway, he has gotten his wish (sortof) he and the little bucking bull and the longhorn are getting put up for the weekend. i don't like them being out close to the road with the stupid rednecks around there. There is a spook house past our place and I always worry about the stupid folks and what they might do. My kids are different than most the cows around town and I worry that someone will harm them. A few years back there was a tame deer that had huge horns. He was a pet named Bucky. Anyway, one year, someone killed him and cut off his head. It was awful and the memory of that event haunts me even now. That is why i try to get my kids off the road side this time of year. Drunk Rednecks pulling halloween pranks is just not safe for animals.

Smart move on putting up the 'kids' so the redneck 'kids' don't hurt them! That's terrible about the deer! Poor thing!!! Being at the beach - walking - music... you're singing my song, friend! Think of me...and go have a wonderful day :)
