Went out to our favorite Mexican restaurant for my sons birthday party and did very well. I had a Mexican hamburger, with no tortilla and drank 2 glasses of water. Stayed away from chips and salsa and didn't even taste the cake, although it did look scrumptious! I was still hungry when I got home and had to eat a snack, so I went over on my carbs by a few, but still kept it under 1600 calories for the day! I'm pretty proud of that, because last year, this is when I fell off the wagon. ;-) I wasn't struggling at all this time, I was having so much fun catching up with my family and friends and having a good time, that I didn't really think about it too much. It's a work in progress, and at times it isn't easy, but I have what it takes to stay on track. It's all about making the right choices and sticking to your goal plan! What is important to me?...giving in and messing up all the work that I have put in, and damaging my health; or feeling great and making myself proud? I'll take the latter!
