Linzynicole's Journal, 19 Oct 11

It's unbelievably frustrating. I have never been this heavy in my life. Every time it's my TOM I gain the weight back and I have to start all over losing it. For some reason it doesn't just go away like other peoples bloat. I'm sooo tempted to start taking diuretics like I used to in the past to help lose the weight but they did so much damage I'm afraid to but I'm becoming desperate.

I have been going to the gym which is helping me feel more relaxed but I'm stressed out over starting my new job Monday, it's making me want to keep eating!

So it's back to the psyllium husk and possibly diuretics.

TOM bloat should go away. Are you eating more during that time and not realizing it? Also, stress can raise your cortisol levels making it harder to lose. So exercising is good. You only have a small amount to lose, so it's important for you to find the correct caloric intake and exercise becomes even more important. Maybe try a week of eating 1200-1300 calories a day for a week or two and see what happens. Track stringently! Focus on lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. Sometimes "what" we eat can be as important as "how much" we are eating. Stay hydrated to flush out sodium and watch your sodium intake. You may be very sensitive to sodium. It can be hard to get those last pounds off.
