Good Sunday Morning everyone!!!

Hope you are or had a wonderful weekend. As you can see I'm in a much better mood. Had some things I needed to deal with on the weekend and think I did a great job of doing so.

And no didn't need a psychiatrist. :)

I wasn't as good as I should have been this weekend but it's okay I'm not beating myself up about it because at times we fall but it's getting back up as fast as you can that counts. As long as I don't stay down then I'm good to go.

I'm trying to be better at choices that I make. It now takes me 10x longer to do grocery shopping. Darn labels are a Pain.. haha.. Especially when you're not exactly sure what you're looking for.. I almost drove my better half nuts. Normally we're a shop, throw and cash out kinda couple. Saturday Morning we went shopping and to him it was the most brutal experience of his life!! lol He was more patient then normal which was good.. and much appreciated.. haha

Tomorrow I go to join the local gym. I come from a small community and the the wonderful thing I found out a couple of weeks ago was that we have a gym about 5 km from my house and get this it's $30 for 3 Months.. Bet none of you can match that price!! lol

I'm not an outdoorsy type of girl and even worse when the cold hits. I freeze in the winter and melt in the summer. The gym will work out nicely for the COLD Canadian winters we get here..

I need to integrate some kind of exercise in my life. Even though I hate exercise and to sweat etc. I hear from a lot of people that you get used to it. We'll see.. I tried a bootcamp once and it was BRUTAL. Too much for a beginner I think. I need a more of my own pace. We'll see.. I managed to get two friends of mine to join with me. :)

Hope you all have a wonderful day/week!!!

Tania

Good for you doing all these positive steps! Sounds like you have some wonderful plans ahead of you! Exercise will definately help you stay in a happier state of mind. As for the grocery shopping... Would it be possible to look up the nutritional values on-line and then buy the items? Or much like a coupon book have the labels from certain items already on hand, and if you are lucky enough to have a coupon to go with it then it's a double win! Good luck on you new plan, and congtats on the "happier" mood!

Love the label idea that's awesome.

I'm glad that you're feeling better. There's nothing like getting those tedious things fixed and kicked out - no matter what they are. I've had a few ghosts like that myself - and I am working hard on getting them out of the door! About the gym - yes - I can beat that price. :) I pay what would be equal to 80 dollars for a full year! :) Beat THAT! Open 7 days a week, a nice, little gym with cardio machines and a weight room with all kinds of goodies. :)

I read every label when I shop...takes normally 2 hours to shop for the week. There is not a gym around here that is that cheap, makes it worth trying it out for 3 months. Good luck.

Eventually the shopping will get faster LOL. That's an awesome price for the gym! That's like two weeks worth here, that's why I don't join. Got a treadmill and mini trampoline, I'm good for now I guess. :)

Sounds like a great deal for the gym! I think that eventually you just know about how many calories different food items have. Heck; if it tastes good, you know it's got too many calories. LOL! It's great you have friends to share in the gym experience. It's a lot more fun and you don't get burned out if you don't go overboard.
