New MrsRando's Journal, 15 Oct 11

Finished my first 5k walk just a little bit ago. I was supporting a friend of mine who has lost over 82 pounds (and hit under 300lbs today, woo-hoo!) so I didn't jog but once. I wasn't impressed with this walk because it was around a track. I want to actually do a walk/jog route. There is a Thanksgiving 6k, a 5k in December (hosted by my gym), and then the domestic violence 5k in March that I want to do. One good thing is that one of the freebies from the walk was a body measurements tape so I'm going to do that tonight.

I ate 3/4 of a Chick-fil-a chicken biscuit for breakfast this morning. It wasn't as good as I remember it. It was tasty but I'm glad I didn't finish the whole thing.

I weighed myself this morning which isn't the same time I weigh myself on Saturdays and it was a 1.8 lbs increase. I'm not logging that because I know that is TOM weight and I just don't want to see the line go up. I will weigh in either tomorrow or next week.

Me and my hubby are going out to dinner tonight. Not sure where to go yet...

Congrats on your first 5k walk. I used to love to do them till I hurt my foot. The freebies are nice at some of them. The last one I did was to benefit the local homeless shelter here. They had lots of great freebies plus door prizes. My daughter won a hand painted bird house. It was a lot of fun. Have a great time tonight with your hubby!
