It is like a winter's morning out there. It is cold and miserable, but at least it is dry so I was able to get my morning brisk walk. About 100 yds from me is the local Parish church, which has a stand of flowering cherry trees just inside the wall. This morning the cherry blossom was dropping and it was as if banks of pink snow carpeted everything.

Walking is the best exercise of all, good for mind and body. Cherry trees in blossom, it really lifts the spirit.

Sad the cold temps killed the cherry blossoms but they had to go sometime. The same thing happened here. I have waited every year for my Weeping Cherry to be in full bloom ... we get a frost every spring and the blossoms fall off and it just leafs out. Good for you for getting out to walk!
