Having good friends over for dinner tonight, in the midst of some messy renovations... why do I do this to myself? Serving a lovely free range chicken roasted in the BBQ, plus some rosemary and olive oil, oven baked potato fries. That and a huge salad will be dinner. For starters, I made some of my infamous humus, to slather on baguettes and/or crackers. Some olives and other bits and bobs. For dessert.. I am serving a large platter of fresh, cut up fruit. My husband wants some cheese with that, so he gets it, but I am putting out a small bowl of dark chili chocolate squares... my favourite with fruit! The dinner is clean eating and if I don't go overboard with portions ( my downfall ) I should be good, calorie wise!
