Took my moody (which is a new thing) pre- teen boys golfing today. It was a beautiful day. They had fun teasing me about my lack of football knowledge. Trying to have me name players based on position and what Teams they are on. It's so embarrassing. I barely even know the teams. Golf is for sure a mind game. My eldest was driving the ball perfectly and of course was immediately rescued from his brooding. Then my normally happy kid was furious. After a few bad shots for him, he was choking back the tears. He finally claimed revenge by fleecing me of all my cash in a putting contest. He's a monster at that, he just drains them. In the end we went through golf heavan and hell and somehow came away happy.
