Day 37 of 60.
Another day off!! That makes three in two weeks. Woohoo! We spent the bulk of the day making a trek to Costco to refill the pantry (and the freezer). Terrible traffic -- ended up taking 90 minutes one way to make the trip, but Costco itself was pretty much empty. A trip to Costco is never good for the diet. Way too much temptation, but a major difference in price for meat and other essentials, as well as many items that just aren't available in Japanese supermarkets makes it a necessary evil. Sadly, that was just about the only thing I accomplished today. Back to work tomorrow.
