IlAny post partem mammas? I've been away for quite some time. I finally became pregnant after 3 years of fertility treatment, the dr warned me not to consume so little calories when pregnant but then I lost control over what I was eating, consuming so much dairy in fear of not having enough calcium during pregnancy, now I am basically back to square one, I weighed 125kg just before birth 😭, had a c section so I have a terrible pouch as a stomach, but now I am back and ready to restart my journey. I'll weigh in soon but I must admit I am terrified of what that scale will read. But my baby girl is born as a healthy full term baby, so my biggest goal has been achieved, now I can get back to improving myself.

You just brought new life into the world after a long, hard journey to becoming a mother. That takes a lot of strength and hope. I’d say you’ve been improving yourself just fine already! Have fun from here on ❤️😉

I’m so happy I found your post….
Mamahood is such an incredible journey - even more só for us that struggle with food.
At my highest (about 5 years ago) I weighed 146kg. After a lot of lifestyle changes and eating right, at my lowest (3 years ago) I was about 78kgs. I then fell pregnant 2 years ago and was so scared something would happen to baby due to my strict fasting and exercising I completely fell into old habits…. And just before giving birth in March 2023 I weighed in at 135kgs. Upon returning home it was about 125kgs.
I felt awful, but couldn’t get myself to eat better. (I’m still breastfeeding and was terrified that lifestyle changes would affect her), but at the start of the year I managed to get some handle on things and I’m down to 107kgs now….
I guess what I wanted to share was that our health is super important, but só is this time with our babas. Balancing a new life and a new lifestyle is so important - só take it easy on yourself!
