For my fellow Ketoers, be careful to not consume refine sugars, they're hidden everywhere, especially in processed foods. If it comes in a box and lasts more than a week, it has hidden sugars.

If you've been on keto for a long time and eat something sweet, you'll know it right away because you'll wake up with a huge headache. It's called a fructose sugar hangover. Also, fructose laden food will get you back into stuffing your face with carbs. All it takes is ONE hit and the addiction comes back.

Fructose sugar functions just like alcohol, even breaks down the same way as alcohol in the liver, so it makes sense that you get headaches from eating anything that contains fructose sugar. Even Doctor Lustig, an endocrinologist from the University of Southern California wrote a paper on it called "Fructose, it's alcohol without the 'buzz'."
