Holy moly I’ve gained nearly 2kg overnight! I didn’t eat that many calories yesterday, 2100 (my daily limit is meant to be 1700 for weight loss). And I was in the gym for 1 hour yesterday doing weights and calisthenics, I walked 8,000 steps up and down hills. So today I’m in shock, why is it going up not down? I googled it -apparently it can be water retention, Could be a bit of new muscle weight? Hope it goes away..

Muscle increase and water retention, looked at your food diary, I would suggest increasing your protein this will help with weight loss

Yes water retention is a thin and also the foods you've consumed that haven't passed through yet add to weight. My weight can go 3kg up and down in 2 or 3 days, but I know it's these and other small factors so I don't worry. Try not to worry with day to day weight, try weighing at the same time of day once a week it'll probably give a better weight representation. Usually in the morning after sleep and after you've been to the toilet is good
