So busy prepping livestock for the heat coming next week. Have been in the mid to high 90s but weather man says 107 by the 4th. Horses are fine, they sweat...but the birds struggle in the heat. More watering early morning and additional shade structures are all I can do and look for any distressed birds and take them to the 'cooling center' (the back porch lol)
That said, I've dropped a bit more due to constantly being on the move and staying on top of my meal prep - I have plenty of pre-measured food to eat on the go.
Everyone stay safe in the heat!
