ugh still no change and I feel like I'm not as bloated in my stomach as I was yesterday but the scale is being mean to me and won't budge. I also have not had a bowel movement in over a week now so I will have to get up in the morning and take a pill my Dr gave me to take before I eat I have take it drink a bottle of water with it used to make me have to take the kids to the pool all day off and on. so I only take them as last resort and I am hoping that after a bowel movement that my scale will be nice and give me a drop in weight.
129.8 kg Lost so far: 30.3 kg.    Still to go: 30.0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Happens to me when I eat so much protein. I use sugar free Metamucil orange mixed in with a sugar free orange drink stick in water. Works pretty good.

I tried adding a prebiotic fiber powder. that worked for a little while. but I eventually had to go to miralax bc going once a week was not healthy long term. best of luck

STOP obsessing on what the scale says! You have a weeks worth of shit backed up in your colon!!! You might consider taking the necessary steps to clear that out before it becomes a problem for you. then take a critical look at what your way of eating is. Fiber products like Metamucil can just turn to gum and contribute to the problems as can other types of fiber products.. You mentioned that the doc gave you a pill of somekind to take. Follow up regarding the results you get.

Try increasing your fat intake. I put coconut oil in my coffee daily. Avocados are great. High fat, high fiber. You could just take a tbs of EVOO or avocado oil.

why not take magnesium? take it daily at night. keeps ya regular and helps your sleep.

and it angers me when doctors don't tell patients about mag and push pills. my doc gave me a magnesium handout. GAME changer! he said start at 500mg go up to 1000.

I debated putting my 2 cents in because I have said it a couple times already but here goes. I have had issues since 1st of 3 major surgeries commencing 7/22 (and 8/22 and 7/23). Narcotics post surgery started it and i weaned myself off pretty fast but nonetheless … im working with a nutritionist currently and she has me on 1-2T flax seed, one truly fermented vegetable (in doing bubbies pickles 1x a day) and 1-2 digestive enzymes which i only do 1 after my largest meal or right before. I have been having healthy banana shaped (apparently the desirable shape for healthy bm) most days and the last 3 days life got to me and i didnt have time to stay on my usual schedule and guess what? Yep, no b.m. Or very small rabbit like leavings.😬. For what it’s worth. My diet is very low in fat and fiber also. Oh, and i always get a minimum of 64 oz of water and usually close to 90-120 oz. When i was losing weight i made sure i had 64 oz plus 8 oz for every 10 lbs i was overweight so in the beginning i was drinking something like 140 oz give or take a day. Which was hard to do but i was determined. Hope this helps. Update if any of these ideas work for you.

I second the magnesium. I don’t stay very hydrated or I over hydrated. Mag really helped
