I wasnt sure if i could do weight watchers but i am getting better at it. I have done atkins on and off forever and I was having a hard time getting out of the mind set that I NEED PROTEIN. However, I do miss my hamburgers and steak. I might save up points and have some red meat this weekend for a treat! Sweets and breads are no problem for me... I just love to eat REAL FOOD.

I have lost weight before on Atkins too so a couple of weeks ago I switched from WW to Atkins, I did not lose even 1 lb in 3 weeks. CRAZY!! So I switched back to WW since that was atleast working to some degree. It is now and always has been hard for me to lose weight. For years my Dr. would always try to prescribe meds (if I needed a med for something) that had weight loss as a side effect and would never give me anything that weight gain was a side effect. She was great and always tried to help me. Did every test imagineable and never found a reason for me to not be able to lose. It was easier when I was younger, but over the last 2 years I have gained and losing has just been a nightmare. It was easier when I worked to atleast maintain a decent weight where I felt comfortable. Since I stopped working about a year and 1/2 ago, the weight piled on and losing has been dang near impossible. I love real food too, I am a total steak and potatoes girl. Good thing I don't eat them that often!!
