i reached my goal a couple days early- big mistake! i followed my diet to the letter and reached my first mini goal of 188 over the weekend.(goal was today) well apparently i thought that would make it ok to down a ton of wine and i had a couple peices of bread at work. i gained all but 2 pounds back and feel defeated. i am proud of myself though, yesterday was a co workers last day and they brought in chocolate cake and i didnt have any!!! even though all i wanted was just ONE bite. but i walked away proud! ...so im hoping that bc i feel kinda "plugged up" (sorry TMI) that once things get moving i will be just a day or two behind my goal. if not, i need to reevaluate. :(

Just a tiny set back. Not having the cake was a huge victory. Good for you. More fiber would help. Don't make your goals so set that you get disappointed. Give your self room. Weight fluctuation of several pounds is very normal. The amount of water you drink, salt intake, and lots of other things can make a daily difference. The two pounds will come back off.
