New gym shoes=fail
--Last night I went to the gym super late just to say I did something good for the day. I had gotten new gym shoes this weekend that fit good, my feet are wide and hard to fit but these looked nice and felt good. The first lap I did I knew something was wrong they hurt in the oddest place--but it was on a foot that has been giving me trouble and I just spent a day walking around the state fair so it was fairly bitchy about anything yesterday. So I kept going. By lap 7 I had to take them off. My good foot had started hurting. They are going back. Good thing I didnt wear them anywhere but inside the gym. Maybe I will say getting in the 270's again new gym shoes will be a reward. By that time my rental refund should be here anyways..
Progress pics. For real before the gym tonight--(if I get to the gym tonight--> but either way pics will occur) I think what I am going to do is try on the dress I bought about 11 lbs ago for my brothers wedding. I am hoping I can make it look good. I was with my bf when I got it and well sometimes he just makes me feel good and I worry that me feeling so good to be around him made me delusional and I am going to have to go looking for a new dress. Though then again he would tell me if it looked bad.
<strike>The reason I may not get to the gym tonight is I may be going fabric shopping with a friend and I am not sure if i have to bus home or if she is dropping me at my place. We will see. If she drops me off I should be able to go. If she doesnt then probably not. I am excited to make new garb for next weekends event, though a little worried about spending too much. Do not want to spend more than 60$ hoping I can find what I need with that.</strike> friend sick. :(
Ok what else? Umm 8 days until my tattoo. Nervous. Hoping hoping hoping the tattoo artist can create it how I want it. I like the artist she makes me feel comfortable and I want to be comfortable when someone is tattooing right under my boob--but the last one we did I didn't express what i wanted good enough. And then with my mermaid tattoo the drawing I love and the colors I left up to the artist too much. So this one I want to make sure it is what I want or at least reasonably near. I am not picky but it is on me forever. So I should be very very happy with it. :)

OHHHHHHHH tattoo!!! what are you getting???? My consult for my tattoo is on the 17th of Sept... totally later than I had hoped but its ok I don't mind waiting for it considering I love the artist that will be doing it! I am a firm believer that the artist should work with you - I mean obviously they know what is doable and what isn't but they should work with you to make it so you are happy with it. I find pictures and stuff are helpful as I am terrible at explaining.. so I search the net and find things I like and then take them in and explain with the pictures so far it has worked super awesome for me... it gives the artist a bit of what I like and then we can work with the ideas ... you know?

Yes exactly-I do that too! I kind of wish we could do a consult a couple times before the tattoo just to make sure the drawing is how I want it. I did that with my last artist but the way this artist works is I have sent her some reference pics but then the day I go in for the tattoo is the day that she draws it up for me--at least that is how she did it last time. I hinted I wanted a consult appt to look at drawings but she again said she would do that same day. It is actually going to be my first mainly black and white tattoo. My other sparrow is kind of a cross between a traditional sparrow and also had some realistic aspects (i.e. more detailed feathers and such) but this one i want to be like a drawing you would see of a sparrow in a bird identification book. But in a mirroring position to the other sparrow so they are still sailors sparrows wishing safe journey there and safe journey home. The first one has a lot of significance to me, the second one was supposed to come when my bf and I were ready to start a family but because of all the turmoil in our relationship we had planned on just getting it done because he was supposed to have decided on things by next week. But things are still ongoing. So I am just going to let it mean that I am ready to have our child. Hoping that is good enough to make up for failing at original meaning.

I would like pictures of it when its done, it sounds awesome! I think I would go crazy if the drawing was done the day of my tattoo - chances are I won't see mine until 2 days or so before hand but at least then she has time to make some changes if need be. I love the meaning of the swallows, and your meaning is a great one as well!
