Precious97's Journal, 06 Dec 15

I'm restarting my diet with Atkins and trying again. I dropped o.6 lbs between last Sunday and Thursday and then I gained 3.5 lbs between Thursday and Saturday. i don't know why or what I did to cause that and I don't know enough about the program to keep going so I'm starting over. Now that I'm sitting at 240 freaking pounds, I have a LOT of work to do! With all of the pain, I'm not sure how I'm going to do that.
112.0 kg Lost so far: 0 kg.    Still to go: 53.1 kg.    Diet followed: Not Applicable.

The first thing that I would personally recommend is tracking EVERYTHING EVERYDAY. That way you can look back and tweak when you have a problem. The second thing I would recommend is dietdoctor.com. The is no stone left unturned there. If you do happen to run into a question that you haven't found answered in the tons of info, there is a "ask the experts" section. The first month membership is completely free (like $9 a month afterwards). If you make it a priority, you could definitely get all of the info you need in that free month.

i weighed myself this morning but forgot to get my phone to take a pic of it, I got off the scale got the camera/phone and came right back to take the pic and gained 2 pounds. my phone is not that big. there is a 4 pound give or take in water retention weight that may have been the issue. keep going your doing awesome.

AGREED Jenny! I tracked EVERYTHING that went into my mouth in the beginning. I also kept it very simple in the beginning so as not to be overwhelmed. Tracking kept me many a time from eating something as I couldn't bear to put it in food diary. Sometimes when I was "thinking" about eating something I would log it to see what the numbers would look like and if I just couldn't accept it, I would skip eating it and delete it off. It really helped me to actually "see" what was going in....

I agree, Rckc. I've had the same experiences. For someone who is carb intolerant, that one bite size Snickers can ruin an entire week of work.
