It's the 8 week blood sugar diet by Dr Michael Mosley. It's designed to help you lose weight fast and reverse diabetes. It involves low carb eating sticking to 800 calories a day and then following a maintenance plan to keep it off. I've followed it before, but have the book away, so I didn't do the maintenance bit. I'm hoping my results will spur my parents into trying it.
