Got officially diagnosed with binge eating disorder recently. It’s not really a shock but I can’t help but be frustrated with myself. Why can’t I have self control and discipline? Why not me? I’ve been having a lot of negative feelings about this so I decided to make a counseling appointment at my college (which I’ve been putting off forever). I hope the counselor helps because I’m a broke college student who can’t afford a therapist 🥲

You can do anything you put your mind too. You got this and get it done. You are stronger than you think. Its portion control you control what you eat and control how much you eat. Just cut back on the foods with high carbs ie bread, and starches. You will be fine and for goodness sake; never underestimate your self anymore.

i too was diagnosed with binge eating disorder. A great help was the workbook called The Glow Approach by dr lyn schroyer!!! worth every penny.

Hang in there. You'll get better, you are aware, and you are seeking help. look up carb addiction. carbohydrates stimulate the brain like a drug. there's a YouTube doc called the carb addiction doc. I'm doing so much better now that I don't eat carbs or drink. keep up your spirits. Take a walk. hang in there!
