WATER
Hi all, what are your thoughts to daily water intake? I drink around 5litres of water per day - plus coffee etc (other beverage intake). I wondered weather this might restrict weight loss or give me false information - i have looked online today and it suggests 3litres of total beverage intake is normal per day?
Any help/advice with the above would be appreciated.
Hope you are all losing this week!

5 litres? Seriously? That's over 8 pints a day. I'm no doctor but that amount of water is harmful. It can lead to water intoxication. Very dangerous. You should drink 4 pints max and that includes water intake from food.

Your body loses about 1.5 litres of water a day, maybe a little more if you do a lot of exercise.
