JoelPH's Journal, 31 Oct 15

Tough few days, Wednesday was ok for net calorie intake but the foods used were terrible (carb/fat/protein wise) I was stuck at a golf club and their selection was typical of any clubs - so I stuck with bacon rolls as the healthiest choice!

Managed to play again yesterday so lots of walking at the moment - we have just been invited to a Sunday roast tomorrow though to celebrate my bro and sister in laws birthdays. Definitely a healthier option than going out (which is good) but don't know how to deal with it when I know it will be a three course affair. Any advise from other fat secret members? Would you try not to eat throughout the day?

Thanks! Joel

No, do not starve before the event; just eat normally. Roast is good and hopefully there will be some vegetables that are low carb. If you don't know what else is being served, ask if you may bring a salad or raw veggie tray with dip for appetizer. Then, being on low carb, just ignore the sugar. If you don't feel comfortable bringing your own treat with you, tell yourself that you will have something later when you get home.
