Boy today just got tougher!! My mother is in ICU on life support. I am going to have to abandon my challenges for the time being but will always keep them in the back of my mind so that hopefully I can at least maintain not gain...... maybe even lose a few pounds with all this stress. Can't believe things, first my mother, my husband has a run in with a router and my daughter cleared of cancer. Things can only get better.

I don't think you are abandoning challenges. Sounds like you have new challenges and you are facing them head on. Stay strong, and be there in the best way you can and noe that for now, that is enough. Take the best care you can of yourself, so that you can be there for your mother, and the rest of your family. And don't forget to lean on others when you need to. Thank God for the good news on your daughter's cancer. Focus on the victories as best you can, and the challenges will be more manageable. My thoughts are with you.
