Does anyone know how weight loss works? I ate nuts last night, but today I lost weight. Does this mean that tomorrow I will gain weight? What is the time period for all processes in our body?

I won't claim to remember all the scientific answers to that, but from my experience of having to lose weight since my first pregnancy 20 years ago, for me it's always been a daily thing. What I eat today will affect the scale in the morning. Now that food will stay in my system/intestines longer but the weightloss/weight gain is seen at my next weigh in which I do the next morning. However if you eat something salty, that can make the scale fluctuate a few pounds higher with temporary weight. They say the body can also hold 3-5 lbs of water weight so that can also fluctuate it up or down. But the scale should drop soon if those things aren't involved. Nuts can be healthy too though if in calorie range. Good luck! Hope this answers your question.
